Tried to post this yesterday but tribe took a poo.
I was wondering if any of you have had any luck with jello shots on the playa? I'd like to make some ahead of time and keep them in my cooler but I have a sneaking suspicion they'll turn to mush. What'dya think?

The most delicious thing I "drank" my first year on the playa were some homemade pudding shots. They were food-saver-sealed into otter-pop-like containers, eaten like a "gogurt". Chocolate pudding with peppermint schnapps.
You could probably make these with some success if you made the plastic tubes sealing all but one short end and then pour in the liquid jello/pudding mix and then seal after they've hardened. And if they do go too liquidy, they'll still be drinkable. -

Mon, August 11, 2008 - 11:05 PMyou could make margarita pops, pina colada pops....etc.....the sky is the limit on these...Make them ahead of time. Freeze in small paper cups with popsical sticks and keep frozen in a cooler filled with dry ice. frozen bailys pudding pops sound delicious! Kahlua butterscotch pops....I could go on, but I think you get the idea! -

Tue, August 12, 2008 - 9:29 AMThe only problem with pops is that they make a real mess when they start to melt. So just be sure to wrap them well.

Sun, August 24, 2008 - 8:59 AMOkay I have made the jello shots (yesterday) and am leaving in 1 hour. I had dark rum already, so I made it with strawberry jello cuz it just sounded good! And they are good because I had two of them yesterday ;)
I figure they'll at least last two days. I only have about 2 dozen so that shouldnt be an issue.
