That's what I'm looking for; is there such a thing that doesn't taste vile?

Re: Low sodium bacon??
Wed, April 29, 2009 - 6:20 AMI'd have to look in the pantry for the braqnd, but we have some natural shelf-stable natural stuff that isn't too bad. Hormel's naturals are also tasty and I think they are lower sodium. -

Wed, April 29, 2009 - 10:14 AM--Thanks; I'll take a look. I've been trying to get used to the precooked stuff from Costco but the saltiness is more than I can bear! -

Re: Low sodium bacon??
Mon, June 29, 2009 - 1:01 PMOur Costco (Sacramento) actually sells a pack of 4 Low Sodium Bacon packs by Kirkland. My husband is quite the bacon lover and although he prefers the thicker peppered cuts, he eats that just as happily. I can't tell a difference in the taste from regular bacon at all.....except that it isn't so damn salty. -

Re: Low sodium bacon??
Tue, July 28, 2009 - 5:19 PMTry the Hormel uncured bacon. It tastes decidedly less salty to me, and the natural sweetness of the pork is great.
